Pekanbaru (Antarariau.com) - The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of 10-20 year old oil palm trees was set higher at Rp1,913.46 per kilogram for the September 6-12 in Riau Province or an increase of Rp17.82 per kg in the week before.
The price of FFB is set every week by a team made of representatives of producers and district administration earlier.
"The rise in the FFBV price followed an increase in the selling price of crude palm oil and palm kernel oil," head of the Food Crop, Horticulture and Plantation Office of Riau Ferry HC Ernaputra,said here on Wednesday.
Ferry said the selling price of CPO by PTPN V rose by Rp67.89/kg, CPO of PT Sinar Mas Group incrfeased by Rp20.80/kg and that of PT Asian Agri Group up Rp57.03/kg and that of PT Citra Riau Sarana up Rp24/kg from prices last week.
However, the selling price of CPO of PT Astra Agro Lestari Group dropped by Rp122.64/kg.
